The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) has coordinated the Youth Economic Empowerment through Agribusiness Project in Tanga City with financial support from the Botnar Foundation and INNOVEX as fund managers. The initiative aims to increase the productivity and competitiveness of smallholder horticultural producers, which are crucial components of poverty reduction. The initiative intends to establish the Agribusiness Incubation Center, where youth (incubators) will be trained in innovative agricultural practices and the application of technology in agriculture.
