On April 1st, 2023, an educational training event was held at Tanga City council with the aim of providing youth valuable information and insights about various opportunities available in fishing industry from Tanga, so they can pursue careers in this field and bring a significant impact on the blue economy The training event was graced by Tanga City Director Dr. Sipora Liana and City Mayor Hon. Abdulrahman Shillow who encouraged them to be active in grabbing these opportunities.
