On the 9th of June 2023, the National Uhuru Torch arrived at the center of youth economic empowerment located at Tumbili Neema site, Led by Abdalah Shaibu Kaimu accompanied by dignitaries and representatives, including the Minister of Health Hon. Ummy Mwalimu, Tanga City Mayor Hon. Abdurahman Shiloow, and District Commissioner Hon.

Hashim Shaibu Mgandilwa, who came together to inspect and launch the site along with it’ s associated projects including Youth Empowerment in Agribusiness project implemented byThe Sokoine University Graduate Entrepreneurs Cooperative (SUGECO), Fish (Tilapia) farming project using modern ponds and Kuroiler F1 Poultry farming project , implemented by AKM Glitters.
