Supply tables and chairs to Secondary Schools in Tanga City Council to Improve Learning Environment

This project significantly enhanced the learning environment for 3,846 students in primary and secondary schools by providing desks, tables, and chairs, creating a more organized and comfortable space for learning. The provision of desks contributed to the physical well-being of students by offering a dedicated place to sit and learn, leading to improved focus and concentration.

The improved learning environment also boosted attendance rates, as students were more motivated to attend classes and engage in their studies. This positive change has the potential to improve academic performance and contribute to long-term educational success.

Furthermore, the project supported the local economy by employing local carpenters in Tanga to produce the furniture. It provided much-needed jobs to 113 youth, 39 adults, and 10 disabled youth, empowering the community through job creation and skill development while enriching the educational infrastructure.
